Get Involved with Community Prevention & Education

Blog-3_Community

Here at OneEighty, we believe that issues such as domestic violence and substance abuse are best counteracted by a community that is actively aware of and involved in confronting these challenges. Our prevention and education services are designed to address this important need.

Our Involvement & Goals

At OneEighty, we provide a wide range of prevention and education services for schools, businesses, community groups, and individuals. Our goal is to promote positive behaviors by helping individuals understand the consequences of substance misuse, harmful dating behaviors, and more. By promoting mental wellness and improving awareness, we can protect individuals in our community from dangerous situations.

Community Coalitions & Groups

We are involved with several community coalitions and groups that play a vital role in our community. Groups such as The Opiate Task Force, Turning Point Coalition, CIRCLE, Rittman SALT, Norwayne SALT, and Chippewa Cares are working to prevent substance use disorder, while groups such as the WATCH-Wayne Anti-human Trafficking Coalition, the Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Coalition, and The Suicide Prevention Coalition also help educate community members about behavioral health issues and provide support to those in need.

Getting Connected

If you’d like to help, there are countless ways to get involved. Don’t hesitate to contact us to learn more about volunteer and advocacy opportunities offered through OneEighty. Whether you are working directly with our team or with a community coalition, every effort can make a meaningful difference in the lives of the most vulnerable members of our area.
