Privacy Policy

OneEighty, Inc. (“OneEighty”) is committed to protecting your privacy and utilizing technology to help secure your online experience.

This Statement of Privacy applies to the OneEighty website, including any subordinate web pages owned and operated by OneEighty, and governs data collection, sharing and usage. OneEighty may engage third parties, such as a hosting service, to assist in website and web page operations. By using the OneEighty website, you consent to the data practices described in this statement. If any part of this privacy policy is not acceptable to you, do not use the website. By using the website, "you" (the person using this site on behalf of yourself, or as the representative of, or on behalf of, another individual or entity) agree to the terms of the privacy policy.

Collection of your Personal Information

OneEighty collects personally identifiable information, such as your e-mail address, name, home or work address or telephone number, when you interact by creating an account or disclosing said information by any means. It is always your choice to provide, or not provide, personal data through the website. OneEighty also collects anonymous demographic information, which is not unique to you, such as your ZIP code, estimated age, gender, preferences, interests and favorites.

There is also information about your computer hardware and software that is automatically collected. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used by OneEighty for the operation of the organization, to maintain quality of the services, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the OneEighty website.

Please keep in mind that if you directly disclose personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data through public message boards, this information may be collected and used by others. This privacy policy does not protect you when using public forums or providing personal information when interacting on other sites, even if linking to a public forum site through the OneEighty website. This includes, but is not limited to, third party social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, or other similar platforms. OneEighty is not responsible for the privacy practices or policies on any social media platforms. If you choose to post information on OneEighty’s social media sites, you are subject to that third party's privacy policy, which may or may not provide the same level of privacy protection or be covered by similar legal terms. OneEighty is not responsible for any information posted on third party sites, including social media sites, nor is OneEighty responsible for information you choose to share on any third party platform or site.

OneEighty encourages you to review the privacy statements of websites you choose to link to from OneEighty so that you can understand how those websites collect, use and share your information. OneEighty is not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on websites outside of the OneEighty and OneEighty family of websites.

Note: OneEighty is committed to providing privacy protection for children. The OneEighty website may include adult-oriented material pertaining to domestic violence, alcohol and drug addiction, treatment and recovery and was not designed for use by, or directed to, minors. OneEighty shall not be liable for any unauthorized use of the website by children under the age of 18.

Use of your Personal Information

OneEighty collects and uses your personal information to operate the OneEighty website and deliver the services you have requested. OneEighty also uses your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from OneEighty and its affiliates. OneEighty does not sell, rent or lease its client lists to third parties. OneEighty may, from time to time, contact you on behalf of external business partners about a particular offering that may be of interest to you. In those cases, your unique personally identifiable information (e-mail, name, address, telephone number) is not transferred to the third party. In addition, OneEighty may share data with trusted partners to help us perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide client support, or arrange for deliveries. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to OneEighty, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

OneEighty does not use or disclose sensitive personal information, such as race, religion, or political affiliations, without your explicit consent.

OneEighty keeps track of the websites and pages our clients visit within OneEighty, in order to determine what OneEighty services are the most popular. This data is used to deliver customized content and advertising within OneEighty to clients whose behavior indicates that they are interested in a particular subject area.

OneEighty websites will disclose your personal information, without notice and at our sole discretion, and in compliance with applicable privacy laws, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) comply with relevant law or comply with legal process served on OneEighty; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of OneEighty; and, (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of OneEighty, or the public. Additionally, OneEighty reserves the right to disclose personal information with third parties, if the action is deemed necessary or is to protect the safety of you, members of your family, members of the public, other users of the website, or any other person.

Use of Cookies

The OneEighty website uses "cookies" to measure and track user interaction on the website and to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.

One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. The purpose of a cookie is to tell the web server that you have returned to a specific page. For example, if you personalize OneEighty pages, or register with OneEighty site or services, a cookie helps OneEighty to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. This simplifies the process of recording your personal information, such as billing addresses, shipping addresses, and so on. When you return to the same OneEighty website, the information you previously provided can be retrieved, so you can easily use the OneEighty features that you customized.

OneEighty also uses “web beacons” to help deliver cookies and gather usage and performance data. This website may include web beacons, cookies or similar technologies from third-party service providers.

Security of your Personal Information

OneEighty makes efforts to secure your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. That said, internet or wireless networks are not guaranteed to be completely secure for transmitting data. OneEighty secures the personally identifiable information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. When personal information (such as a credit card number) is transmitted to or through other websites, it is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol. Despite having security measures in place, OneEighty cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information shared with us electronically therefore you agree to do so at your own risk. OneEighty is not responsible or liable for illegal acts of third parties that may attempt to “hack” our website or email to collect, sell or share your data.

In addition to HIPAA standards of privacy, individuals receiving substance abuse treatment services through OneEighty are protected under federal law (42 CFR Part 2-Confidentiality of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Patient Records; Final Rule). Every patient is presented with a copy of the Notice Regarding the Use and Disclosure of Protected Health Information & notification of Confidentiality Statement for Substance Use Disorder records that is signed upon admission and offers an explanation of a patient's right to confidentiality. OneEighty will occasionally update this Statement of Privacy to reflect company policy and client feedback. OneEighty encourages you to periodically review this Statement to be informed of how OneEighty is protecting your information.
