OneEighty has served Holmes and Wayne Counties for years. Our goal of providing support for our most at-need citizens is largely made possible through the generous contributions of community members. There are many ways that you can help OneEighty, and in turn, help strengthen your local community.
Volunteering is one of the most important things you can do to support OneEighty. Volunteers play an essential role in our organization.
OneEighty’s mission is also made possible thanks to several support auxiliaries. These organizations help OneEighty by hosting fundraisers throughout the year to educate the community and raise support for our programs, and these events depend on volunteers to be a success.
Action is the best way to get behind the cause, and you can make a difference by helping these auxiliaries with their events or making a monetary donation. Currently there are two auxiliary groups that support OneEighty. Friends of OneEighty focusing on all programs offered at OneEighty and Friends & Neighbors of Holmes County that focuses on domestic violence and sexual assault services.
OneEighty accepts monetary donations, in-kind donations, and other gifts that support our mission. While OneEighty receives public grants and funds, these aren’t enough to cover all of our expenses and programs. Even gifts of hygiene items or gently used bedding can help support program participants. If you can’t give your time, your donations can still make a significant difference for our mission.
Every action counts — especially in light of the unique challenges created by the COVID-19 pandemic. Visit us online at www.one-eighty.org or call (330) 264-8498 if you are interested in volunteering or donating. We look forward to serving with you!
