WHAT IS VAPING?
•Inhaling and exhaling vapor produced by e-cigarettes, battery-powered device
•What are other names for e-cigarettes? E-cigs, vape pens, e-hookahs, e-pipes, tanks, mods, vapes, electronic nicotine delivery systems, or ENDS, and more. Some people refer to vaping devices by their brand name such as JUUL (“the iPod of e-cigarettes”), bo, blu, and others.
•Products come in many shapes and sizes – usually small to be discreet; they can be used anywhere – at home, outside, in bathrooms, locker rooms and even classrooms.
•Hitting the Juul

WHAT IS IN A VAPING DEVICE?
•Propylene glycol, glycerin, water, nicotine, flavoring – many of the flavorings are sweet and candy-like appealing to youth
•Nicotine
•Cancer-causing agents
•Ultrafine particles that can be inhaled deep into the lungs
•Flavorings like diacetyl, a chemical which has been linked to serious lung disease
•Volatile organic compounds
Heavy metals
