90 Days in: Building on Our Mission

Dear Friends, Supporters, Community Partners, and Advocates,

As I reflect on the past couple of months, I find myself filled with gratitude. Since becoming CEO, I’ve had the opportunity to meet many people who make OneEighty such a special organization, from the dedicated staff who serve others every day to the community members who support our mission. Those experiences have reinforced just how important this work is. Thank you for walking alongside us as we support individuals and families affected by substance use, domestic violence, sexual assault, and mental health challenges.

The People Behind the Mission

One of the greatest privileges of serving as CEO is witnessing firsthand the work our staff does every day. They meet people where they are, helping them through difficult situations, and supporting them by navigating some of life’s most difficult challenges. I could not be prouder of the work they do and the difference they make every day in people’s lives.

Break the Cycle: A Community Effort

We just had our biggest fundraiser of the year, Break the Cycle. Thanks to your generosity and enthusiasm the event was an incredible success.  Walking alongside participants gave me the opportunity to see firsthand the commitment our community has to the people we serve. It was also meaningful to have members of my family attend and experience the event with me. The support shown by individuals, families, businesses, and community partners was inspiring. Every contribution helps advance our mission and strengthens our ability to provide life-changing services throughout the communities we serve.

Meeting People Where They Are

I would also like to offer a message of support and encouragement. To anyone facing mental health challenges, substance use, domestic violence, sexual assault, or supporting a loved one through difficult circumstances, please know that help is available and you are not alone. One of the things I’ve learned in my time at OneEighty is that progress looks different for everyone. Every person’s situation is different, and our role is to meet people where they are, understand their needs, and help them take the next step forward.

Looking Ahead with Gratitude

Thank you for your support of OneEighty and the people we serve. Whether you support our mission through volunteering, donating, partnering with us, or helping raise awareness, you play an important role in the work we do. My sincere thank to OneEighty’s Board of Trustees for the confidence they placed in me and for their continued leadership as we work together to advance OneEighty’s mission. I am grateful for the opportunity to lead this organization and work alongside a dedicated team committed to strengthening our community.
