Changing Directions Golf Scramble

Friends of OneEighty is excited to announce that our annual golf scramble is scheduled for Monday, September 16^th, 9am start time, at Wooster Country Club. Last year, we hosted a 12-hole cross country scramble. It was challenging and different, but it was not a fan favorite! This year, we will playing a more traditional scramble with a twist😊.

Changing Directions Golf Scramble will be a Step-Aside (Florida) Scramble. Each stroke played by the 4-person team (other than the drives) requires that one golfer “step aside” for that stroke. On each hole, all four golfers will use their drivers. Whoever had the best drive, will “step aside” and skip the next shot. This continues until the hole is completed. This scramble let’s each team member’s strength shine while challenging golfers to make strategic decisions about shot selection.   Whether you are a seasoned pro or just starting out, this event is a great opportunity to enjoy a round of golf with friends and fellow enthusiasts.

In addition to a day of golf, there will be prizes, contests, and a post-event lunch provided by Wooster Country Club. It's sure to be a day filled with camaraderie and friendly competition.
